PFF? We’ll get to that in a minute. First…

I recently set out on a journey. You probably know about it already. It’s a journey that comes with some risk. Certainly, it also comes with the hope of much reward and incredible adventure. It’s a new journey, so it also comes with a high degree of uncertainty. Can you really have an incredible adventure if there isn’t a high degree of uncertainty and some expression of risk? I don’t think so.

In so many ways, this is a journey that I walk alone. I’m stepping out with a great amount of independence to serve in areas where I feel uniquely equipped. I don’t necessarily have a “team” that I work with and I’m largely responsible for my own schedule. This freedom is great, but can also lend itself to varying feelings of isolation.

I’m super excited about what is ahead and I feel ridiculously supported in all sorts of ways.

And I also feel keenly aware of my need to invite people into this journey with me in three key areas.

Now, back to PFF.

Not, like Pffft … an ambivalent sound effect oozing a lack of enthusiasm and empathy.

I want to invite you into something exciting - certainly nothing like Pffft.

PFF are the areas where I see the highest level of importance for me to share this journey and invite people to join me. (Hint: If you haven’t guessed yet, it’s a acronym)

Prayer, Friendship, Finances.

Three simple words that carry a magnitude of significance for me these days.

These words and all the weight they bear are very important to the journey I am on. Without all these three words represent, I would be a fool to continue in this endeavour.

With these words come possibility. These words create opportunity. These words lay a foundation for the very journey I embark on. These words express the antidote to the isolation which could be inherent to this journey. These words form the invitation for the people of my life to be WITH ME in this passion and vision I feel so emboldened to run after!

Although these words are part of most peoples everyday vernacular I feel a depth to each of them that I hope to express.

Over the next little while, I plan to write a bit about each of these words. I hope to explain the significance of each word to my current reality; articulate the importance of having people join me in the nuances of each word; and provide clear invitation for my community to join me in each expression!
