Waves
I just spent the week in Ensenada, Mexico celebrating the 25 year anniversary of the Mission Adventures Network.
It was a super cool week spent with a bunch of people who are in the trenches of MA these days, trying to figure out what experiences like this look like as we come out of a COVID world. As well I got to connect with a bunch of the OG Missions Adventures team, the pioneers of this incredible ministry that has impacted over 140,000 lives over the last 25+ years!
It was super humbling to see that I get to be a part of this story. Who knows, maybe over the next 25 years I could play a role in seeing this ministry reach even more young people!
I’m feeling super inspired and excited to dig in and see what it will look like for me to step into these things!!
During out time together here we got to hear some pioneering stories as well as get invited into new things! We also built a home together with Homes of Hope. So cool that this was the third home build I got to be a part of this year! Every time I am reminded of how amazing of a privilege it is to be a blessing to a family in this way!
I’m super excited for what is to come for me as I step wholeheartedly into this YWAM family!
The original vision for YWAM was WAVES of young people, coming from everywhere, going to everywhere. And a key part of this vision was that each wave would be bigger than the one before. What a cool opportunity I have had to get to connect with some of the pioneers of this ministry and be empowered and mobilized to be a part of seeing the next wave of young people be even bigger than the waves that have come before!
LET IT BE JESUS! Would it be that there are WAVES of young people mobilized throughout the globe to be the LIGHT and bring the HOPE of the world to the world they live in. As we were praying one night for the next generation I was captivated by this idea of young people being empowered and mobilized to serve their own generation. To be ambassadors among their peers. To step out BOLDLY to see the Jesus bring LIFE and hope and joy and peace to their peers!
LET IT BE JESUS
